DESCRIPTION
Made in Denmark during the 1950s and 1960s. This Santos rosewood bookshelf combines four open compartments above with a lower cabinet whose bookmatched front folds down into a writing surface. Behind it sit four small drawers and a central compartment with a patterned glass door, so it works as a home office and display piece in one. The veneered body stands on solid tapered legs and has been completely restored and refinished; some discolouration on the inner back panels, light scratches and slight veneer wear remain.
