Discover our handpicked selection of teak dining tables from the 1950s and 60s. During the mid-20th century, teak became a popular material in many Scandinavian homes thanks to its warm tone and durable quality. Every table in our collection has been carefully restored to highlight the wood's natural luster and the elegant design lines that characterize the era's craftsmanship.
Vintage Teak Dining Tables from the 50s and 60s
Every dining table has lived a life before reaching us. At Beyo Vintage, we care for our teak tables with great respect for both the material and its history. The era-specific retro style that makes many of our dining tables unique is something we are careful to preserve.
Some dining tables require a bit of care and are given new life in our workshop, while others come to us with a beautiful patina that we gently choose to leave intact. Traces of use are part of the furniture's story and contribute to the genuine feeling that only vintage furniture can provide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are teak furniture pieces valuable?
Yes, teak furniture is often highly sought after. The value lies in the durable material, the solid craftsmanship, and the timeless design. Well-preserved and renovated teak furniture—especially dining tables, chests of drawers, and chairs from the mid-20th century—holds a stable resale value and can even increase in value over time.
How long does teak furniture last?
Teak furniture is known for its long lifespan. Thanks to the wood's naturally high oil content and durability, teak furniture can last for several generations. It is not uncommon for teak furniture from the 50s and 60s to still be in excellent condition.
How can you tell if it is genuine teak?
Genuine teak has a warm, golden-brown tone and a distinct, vibrant grain. The wood often feels slightly oily and is relatively heavy. On older furniture, teak usually consists of solid details or a veneered top on solid wood, rather than particle board. If you are unsure, we at Beyo Vintage are happy to help assess the material.
